Fondren 11M Husband died about 1883; likely in TN. Moved with family to Arkansas about 1883; this is likely where family history converge with facts. Family history suggests that Susanna and the kids resided near or with her brother James Thomas in White Co., AR. She reportedly died when Walter was 10 therefore she would have died about 1887. Walter learned to drill wells using water well technology. James Price Fondren acquired Walter's original water drilling rig and left it in place on rural property in Kensett. Susanna and Thomas were first cousins. I have found the parents of Susanna and James Thomas and now searching to more comfortably connect Thomas Richard into the line. Ron Yates 4/8/2009
